Prepare one health folder
Before the appointment, gather everything provided by Yuliia: passport, vaccination and parasite-treatment dates, microchip number, test results and contacts. Keep digital copies. This gives the veterinarian a clear timeline and removes the need to remember dates during the consultation.
- Food name, daily amount and routine.
- Photos of any medicine or supplement packaging.
- Short videos of breathing, gait or any behaviour that concerns you.
- A question list in your phone notes.
What to discuss at the appointment
Ask the veterinarian to assess overall condition, heart and lungs, eyes, ears, skin, mouth, joints and body condition. For a bulldog, it is useful to record how the dog breathes at rest, tolerates gentle movement and recovers afterwards.
- When the next vaccination and parasite treatment are due.
- What temperature limits and exercise level are safe for this dog.
- Which signs require a routine, urgent or emergency visit.
- Who to call at night or at weekends.
After the appointment
Write the conclusions in plain language, add future procedures to the calendar and share important results with Yuliia. Avoid changing food, routine and several care products at the same time, because this makes an unwanted reaction harder to interpret.
